Product Review: Costa Del Mar Sunglasses

These sunglasses are a little pricey but I just got a pair and they are well worth the extra skrilla.  The lenses enhance the blue/green colors and dim yellow light (hence the price tag). Essentially its like you are looking at the world in HD all the time. I feel like Bill Walton in the 70’s when I wear them…

“I could smell colors! I could see see sound!..It was unbelievable!”

The Verdict:

PRODUCT: Harpoon frame w/ green mirror glass lenses

GRADE: A

BOTTOM LINE: Expensive but great. Small color changes really pop out and are magnified. I took them golfing and they helped me find my ball on some of my many expeditions into the woods (sadly they don’t help my short game at all).

The only downside of owning anything this nice is that you want to be extra careful with them.  This is hard when their main purpose is as an accessory to conquering the great outdoors.  My advice: don’t lose them or else you will be the weird guy sobbing in the corner over a pair of sunglasses.

These sunglasses are made for fishing and hiking but work just as well on the golf course or stomping through the woods. (Kudos to JBru and all the rednecks down in ‘Bama. Apparently everyone in the South has a pair of Costa Del Mar’s.)
