Mad Men & the 1960’s: throw modern political correctness out the window

I’ve heard a lot about the acclaimed AMC series “Mad Men” but have never actually given it a chance. Its centered around high-powered executives in the 60’s in the “Golden Age” of advertising. After watching the pilot episode online, I think I have to check it out now and rent all the DVD’s. Anyone else a fan of this show?

The advice to the new secretary towards the end is priceless.

Check out part 1 of the pilot:

Watch the rest of the pilot episode for “Mad Men” here.

(Update: I FLEW through Season 1 and can’t wait for Season 2.  Roger Stirling and Peggy Olson are my favorite characters so far. This show ranks up with The Wire and LOST as one of my all time favorites)
