Looking for new music to listen to?

I heard about this site called Pandora.com and it’s a great way to listen to a bunch of music that fits your tastes. Some guys with a lot of free time on their hands started a Music Genome Project where they broke down and analyzed thousands of songs and found a way to relate them together.

All this means for the user is that you put in an artist or song you like and then it starts playing a play-list of songs that are similar. I tried CCR, Johnny Cash, and the Rolling Stones and came across some cool music I hadn’t heard before (both obscure and popular).

Give it a try. It’s free and it reminds me a lot of listening to the radio stations on Grand Theft Auto, except you can’t drive over pedestrians while you listen to it (unless you get real creative with your Internet access).

Pandora’s a great way to have some guaranteed good music for studying/ working/ doing hard time in prison.

Check it out here: www.pandora.com

(Thanks to my bro Ty for the tip)
