Bright lights! Public transportation! Masses of people!
So the wait is over and I’m finally out here living in NY with my buddy Jeff and his roommates. So far I’m really enjoying it and have been trying to get my bearings on the city and traveling around. First impression: this is pretty much the exact opposite of Portland. I think this is just what I need right now and am excited for all the challenges ahead.
I’ve been out wandering this morning and the subway is awesome. I really like being able to zip anywhere I want and it reminds me a ton of my time studying abroad over in Italy.
Once I get a job (and hopefully my own place at some point) everyone who is interested needs to come out and stay with me and Jeff. That’s not a suggestion. Do it.
